PresbyLASIK
A laser treatment applied to one eye for near-vision loss after forty, and its limits.
A laser treatment for people who have difficulty seeing near after the age of forty. It is also known by names such as “Supracor”.
It is applied to one eye only, because it carries a risk of reducing distance vision — and because it is applied to one eye, it does not provide sufficient near vision. People who have PresbyLASIK can do short reading tasks — reading a menu, using a phone, looking at a price tag — without glasses. For longer reading, however, they need reading glasses that also give near vision to the other eye.
Have your eyes assessed
Send your prescription history, previous eye reports and any corneal imaging for an individual assessment — in person in İstanbul or over video.
With every surgical or interventional procedure, results vary from person to person. Please obtain a detailed opinion from your doctor before any procedure.
