Tear Trough Filler
Correcting hollows and dark circles under the eyes with filler.
Filling and correcting the hollows and dark circles under the eyes with a filler material is called “tear trough filler”.
The treatment is done with the patient sitting, after the area under the eyes has been cooled with ice or a cold compress. The filler is injected under the eye with a needle. It is generally a well-tolerated procedure.
It can have side effects such as pain, redness, swelling, bruising, asymmetry and migraine. Although rare, loss of vision can also occur. For this reason it should be performed by qualified specialists (ophthalmologists, plastic surgeons, dermatologists).
Results may vary from person to person.
Have your eyes assessed
Send your prescription history, previous eye reports and any corneal imaging for an individual assessment — in person in İstanbul or over video.
With every surgical or interventional procedure, results vary from person to person. Please obtain a detailed opinion from your doctor before any procedure.
